RE: Travel Trailer Tires
I have two trailers both with Goodyear Endurance tires that are over 2 years old. I just had my first tire issue last week when one of the tires picked up a 2" long drywall screw. Otherwise, they've been completely trouble free.

RE: Weight Distribution Shank....2.5" receiver end X 18" Long
Reducer sleeve will be a long term bad idea, but whatever. Knock yourself out.
How so? My 2015 Ram 2500 came with a reducer sleeve and I use two different 2" weight distribution inserts on a fairly regular basis. I now have 135,000 miles on the truck and have never had any issues.

RE: When impatience hurts!
I don't blame the 18-wheeler driver one bit. It's obvious that he swerved to the left as much as he safely could to give the motorhome more room and was also braking his vehicle. Note that he got stopped behind the wreck location. This accident is 100% due to the RV driver's impatience and poor judgement.

RE: Priming the water pump
I agree with the new pump only that price seems high (But then it's been some years since I replaced one.
One make sure fresh tank is FULL
Two.. open faucets. Kitchen and bath before turning on pump.
3 Insect lines for valves and holes.
I just paid $72.50 for a new SureFlo pump on Amazon. I also bought a new replacement valve assembly for the old pump for $13.13 so now I have a spare pump.

RE: Priming the water pump
For about $70 you can buy a new Shurflo pump on Amazon and be done with your issue,,,just saying,,,
And for an additional $14 you can buy new valves for the old pump and have a spare. (I just did this).

RE: Kentucky's Bluegrass Parkway.
That rough section of the Bluegrass Parkway is going to be repaired and repaved starting at the end of May. It's had it rough spots for awhile and those of us who travel it often know to drive the left lane through that stretch.

RE: tow with all wheel drive?
Check the tow rating of the vehicle you are considering. That should answer your question.
